People may experience depression in different ways. Depression may interfere with your daily work, resulting in lost time and lower productivity. It can also negatively interfere with relationships and expedite some chronic health conditions.

It’s important to note that feeling down at times is a normal part of life. Sad and upsetting events tend to happen to everyone. But, if you’re feeling down or hopeless on a regular basis, you could be dealing with depression.

People have no idea how reactive humans are to color.

It’s no secret that colors have a huge effect on our mood. Without knowing you, I can tell you like to wear black or grey on rainy days and for sunny days, you go crazy and wear yellow, green, orange, etc.

When I feel down, I throw on something colorful and not only does it make me feel tons happier, but I feel more equipped to take on my day. So I’m no longer dreading doing my homework or going to club meetings because I have that boost of courage and psyche that bright colors bring.

If you integrate brighter colors into your wardrobe, you’ll notice them more when you wear them and you’ll be in a happier mood than before.

Fitting clothes will give your body a great hug before you take on your day.

When I’m too sad and depressed to go outside and I just want to get out the door, I’ll throw some baggy sweats on in a heartbeat. Once you feel those baggy clothes sag all over your body, you’ll feel groggy. Almost like a slug.

The same thing goes for tight clothes. Once you put those on you’ll be five seconds away from losing yesterday’s dinner. Heck, I’m still surprised people can breathe in tight skinny jeans two sizes too small.

Having your clothes fit perfectly on your body makes you feel like a changed person. Fitted clothes give your body a nice hug and once you feel that hug, you’ll be in a happier mood.

Most people underestimate the power of a clutch, sunglasses, or a watch. When I was in school, I wore this shiny gold watch I bought off amazon on days when I felt cute.

Accessories give your outfit the pop it needs aesthetically and they’re such an amazing statement of your style. So if you’re feeling that occasional depression, wearing an accessory with your stunning outfit is a great way to cope with your depression.

Accessories are extra confirmation that you look beautiful and that helps boost your happiness.
